1. Virat Kohli:
As the Indian cricket team is all set to lock its horns in the summit clash against Australia, all eyes will be firmly on Virat Kohli, who will be heading into the must-win match with a lot of confidence after his exploits in the Indian Premier League.
Kohli’s record on the ground could be a bit concerning for the Indian side. He has played three games at The Oval and in six innings, he has only scored 169 runs at an average of 28.17. He has scored only one fifty from six innings.
Team India will be hoping Kohli will improve on his record and guide them to the WTC title win win against Australia.
2. Rohit Sharma:
Rohit Sharma has played only one Test match at the Oval but he managed to score 138 runs in that game. Playing against England in 2021, Rohit scored 138 runs, including his match-winning hundred of 127, which came in the 3rd innings. His ton helped India win the Test and also cemented his place as a Test opener.
3. Ravindra Jadeja:
India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has had some amazing outings at the Oval, where he has picked up 11 wickets and has also contributed 126 runs with the bat.
