Social media is already mostly in the mode of rift and tussles between the fans of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, two of the biggest names in Indian cricket. And it seems like a Pakistani journalist wants to add some fuel on this.
There haven’t been any fanwars in recent days, as India have dominated the ongoing first Test match against West Indies, this Pakistani journalist, Farid Khan, tried to ignite the rift between the two sections of fans which have massive numbers.
In Dominica, on Day 2 of the match, Sharma recorded his 10th Test century, and on Day 3, Kohli notched up his 29th Test fifty, but Kohli failed to reach three-figure landmark and was dismissed by off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall on 76 runs off 182 balls.
Kohli had gotten two lives during his innings; WI dropped a couple of catches when he was on 40 and then on 72, yet the 34-year-old couldn’t make it count big and couldn’t go to a century, what would have been his 29th Test ton.
Pakistani journalist tries to create fight between fans of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli
Nonetheless, this Pakistani journalist Farid Khan took this opportunity to write a tweet that seemed to agitate the fans of both Rohit and Kohli. He said that Rohit fans will troll Kohli now – that Rohit reached a hundred and Kohli didn’t despite getting two reprieves and added that Kohli is greater than Rohit.
He wrote: “The lowest point for any Rohit Sharma fan is to mock Virat Kohli for not reaching a hundred, and then to make fun of dropped chances in this innings. He has more hundreds in the month of July only than your favourite player has in his entire Test career”

Meanwhile, India have declared at 421/5 with a significant lead of 271 runs, which on this pitch, and with Ashwin and Jadeja in the side, might be enough to bowl West Indies out again and secure a victory by an innings.
