The ultimate opportunist in front of goal is back in action for Al Nassr, and he seems to have not missed a single beat. Cristiano Ronaldo came back into the Al Nassr side for their tie against Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League and got back onto the scoring charts as he bagged himself a poacher’s finish in Al Nassr’s 3-1 win.
Ronaldo and his new team came up short in the title race last season, and so he will be determined not to let that happen again. Factor in the famous faces that have now joined him in the league who will be aiming to outshine the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, and Ronaldo should be even more keen to ensure he remains top dog in his new home.

Ronaldo, who was rested the previous game for Al Nassr, looked in stellar form as usual as the Portuguese threatened the opposition goal multiple times in the first half.
And when he was not directly in front of goal, he helped set up his teammates for their goal, as Ronaldo faked out the keeper from free-kick range, allowing his teammate Alex Telles to slot in a scrumptious goal from range.
Ronaldo had yet another glance at goal, as he embarked on a trademark run from the left flank and shot it at the keeper. But, it found the side of the net instead of the back of it.
But it was in the 49th minute, when the ever-lurking Ronaldo found his opportunity to strike when an Al-Wehda defender had attempted to head the ball back to his goalkeeper, but laid it on a plate for Ronaldo to slip it past the keeper with ease.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now been directly involved in 20 goals in just 12 Saudi Pro League games this season.
Ronaldo scored his 13th SPL goal of the season on Saturday to help Al Nassr win 3-1 away at Al-Wehda.
The 38-year-old is now three goals clear of Al-Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic in the race for the Saudi Pro League’s Golden Boot.
As well as scoring 13 league goals this season, Ronaldo has provided seven assists.
With the win, Al Nassr stays second in the league standings with 31 points, four behind topper Al Hilal, who are now set to miss talisman forward Neymar for an extended period owing to his freak injury.
Al Nassr and Al-Hilal are scheduled to meet for the first time in the league this season on December 1.
