David Warner encountered an embarrassing moment while undergoing the mandatory security check at the Los Angeles International Airport. Along with his wife Candice, Warner recently attended the wedding of Miley Cyrus’ mother Tish Cyrus, who tied the knot with Australian actor Dominic Purcell in Malibu on August 25.
Coming off the glittery event, the Warner couple was about to take a flight to their homeland when the cricketer was stopped by the security personnel following an adverse result from the metal-detecting machine.
Warner had to wait for further check after the machine detected something on his testicles, according to Candice, who spoke about the event on Australian radio station Triple M.

“David went through the first one where you walk through and it started beeping. So, they (security) then ushered him to the full body scanner. He puts his arms up and it beeps again,” Candice said, as quoted by the Sun. The situation unquestionably came as a shock for the couple. Candice further revealed that the other people present there broke into laughter. They could clearly see a hot spot on Warner’s private parts as the result appeared on a giant computer screen attached to the machine.
“The security man came up to him and said, ‘Look, we are going to have to sort this out’. But I was left confused wondering what is going on downstairs or what is going on with my husband’s package,” Candice recalled. However, they could board the flight to Australia once the airport security finally gave Warner a clean chit.
After listening to Candice’s description, Dr Sam, who serves as Triple M’s Rush Hour medical expert, predicted Warner might have got a piercing on his private parts. Candice, however, was quick to shut down the speculation. “No, no, there’s no piercings,” the former Ironwoman confirmed.

Talking about his on-field performance, David Warner has been going through a turbulent phase of his career for quite some time now. The Aussie opener last took the field in the Ashes series in England that ended in a 2-2 draw.
Warner appeared far from his iconic form in the away series, aggregating only 225 runs in 9 innings at a below-par batting average of 25. Despite the poor performance, Warner has made a cut to Australia’s preliminary squad for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup, slated to take place in India in October-November. Before going into the mega event, the Aussies will play a three-match ODI series against the World Cup hosts to cope with the Indian conditions.
