Pacer Deepak Chahar and his CSK captain MS Dhoni have shared some really cute and hilarious moments over the past few seasons. The pacer made a heart-warming collage of many such images and posted on his Instagram to wish Mahendra Singh Dhoni a happy birthday on his 42nd nameday on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Former India captain and current CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 42 on July 7, 2023. And wishes have been pouring in from all corners for the only international captain to have won all three ICC white-ball trophies – ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy; in addition to this Mahendra Singh Dhoni also launched India to the number 1 Test ranking in 2009/10.
Deepak Chahar and Dhoni have been together in the IPL since 2016. For the first two seasons, they spent their time together at Rising Pune Supergiant, and when CSK returned in 2018, CSK bought Chahar after a suggestion from the CSK captain.
Chahar has become a crucial part of the CSK team since 2018 and also moved into the Indian team after his success with CSK where he learned the trade from MS Dhoni.
On his captain’s birthday, Deepak Chahar put up a cute collage of some images of special moments he’s shared with MS Dhoni, some were sweet, a few hilarious.

Dhoni has been the heartbeat of the fans for a long time, more so since his international retirement as that limited him to only IPL appearances. And while every year, there is speculation that that year’s IPL season would be his last, the Ranchi-born turns up again next year to unfurl his magic.
There was a strong feeling that the IPL 2023 will be last IPL season – especially as CSK returned to Chennai to play their home matches and even won the title – but Dhoni remained mostly mum about it and then underwent knee surgery – with which he battled throughout the season – and is likely to turn up for IPL 2024.
