Ashes 2023: England captain Ben Stokes was once again in the middle of everything as he produced a magnificent show in the ongoing second Test of the Ashes 2023 against Australia at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

Ben Stokes is doing everything he can to keep the England team very much in the hunt to win the second Test. He walked out to bat when his side lost four quick wickets and found themselves reeling at 45/4 while chasing the target of 371 runs.
The star all-rounder didn’t let the pressure get to his head as he played some blistering shots. Ben Stokes formed a 132-run partnership with Ben Duckett (83) but once the latter was dismissed followed by Jonny Bairstow (10), the all-rounder switched gears and started smashing the Australian bowlers all over the park.

Stokes put the opposition under pressure with his batting prowess. Soon, he reached his century in style by smashing three brilliant sixes to Cameron Green. At the time of Lunch, he was batting an unbeaten 104 runs. All thanks to his knock, England is back in the game and they are just 94 runs away from the win (at the time of writing this article).
