Rohit Sharma Talked About India’s Performance After The Match

Later, after the match, speaking at the post-match presentation, Rohit Sharma said that the senior players rose to the occasion when the going got tough and helped the side get over the line against England. Speaking about the win, Rohit said:

“This was a game of a lot of character in the squad. When the times were tough, all our experienced players stood up at the right time and got the game for us. We knew the pitch had something in it. We just wanted to get to a total we could play with. I thought we were not great with the bat today.”

Speaking about the performance of the bowlers, Sharma continued:
