Stuart Broad and James Anderson spilled the secrets on how to dismiss the greatest batters in world cricket including Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and Babar Azam
One of the most lethal bowling duos in England’s history, Stuart Broad and James Anderson have provided a swift quickfire guide to dismiss the best batters in the world. Anderson and Broad were seen in a video uploaded by the official YouTube channel of Sky Sports Cricket, sharing hidden tips and tricks on dismissing batting icons like Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and Babar Azam.
The video starts with Broad sharing how he approached his bowling against Australia’s David Warner. When Sachin Tendulkar’s name popped up on the screen, Anderson decided to share his veteran expertise on dismissing the Indian cricket icon. “Nipping back, lbw”, he said.
While talking about Virat Kohli the duo gave an interesting reply. They said that taking Kohli’s wicket required a similar technique when dismissing Ricky Ponting. “Try and nick him off. A little wider”, the duo concluded.

The video also provides some insight into dismissing the likes of Australian cricketer Steve Smith and South African legend Jacques Kallis. When talking about Babar Azam, James Anderson was seen shaking his head a little.
After giving some good thought to it he said, “Top or off-stump”. Stuart Broad added, “He got bowled a bit in Pakistan, didn’t he? Through the gate, a bit of reverse”. The duo also shared a chuckle when Anderson’s name popped up who said that short balls were his weakness.
Broad was quick to interrupt Anderson, asking him not to spill all his secrets as he had still plenty of cricket left in him. Broad then revealed his own weakness saying that all it took to dismiss him was a straight one-bounce ball towards the stumps.

Stuart Broad played his last international series for England in the Ashes earlier this year. Despite being at the twilight of his career, Broad proved to be one of the most impactful players in the series. He scalped 22 wickets in the five-match Test series, which was just one shy of Mitchell Starc’s tally of 23.
“It hasn’t sunk in that I won’t bowl or hit another ball,” Broad said to Sky Sports earlier this year after his retirement. He retired with an impressive career total of 604 Test wickets to his name.
James Anderson has been ageing like fine wine. The 41-year-old right-arm fast bowler just continues to deliver for England in Test Cricket. With 690 Test wickets already to his name, it will be interesting to see how many more the English bowler can add to his tally before retiring.
