Ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, here’s a brief look at the Afghanistan cricket team.
Afghanistan are ready to launch another bid to impress on the world stage. The team has shown remarkable progress in limited-overs cricket but they are yet to dazzle at ICC Cricket World Cup having failed to win a single match last time around in 2019.
In the lead up to the world cup, they took part in Asia Cup where they failed to progress beyond the group stage after losing to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
