Afghanistan star cricketer Rashid Khan has pledged his match fee from the ongoing ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 in India to help the cause of the victims of the earthquake in his homeland in its entirety.
According to reports, at least 2,445 people have been killed as a result of two earthquakes that hit Afghanistan on Saturday.

The all-rounder, who has created a revolution of sorts in his nation and is reportedly the nation’s highest-paid player, has said he also plans to launch a fundraising campaign to support those affected by the tragedy.
“I learned with great sadness about the tragic consequences of the earthquake that struck the western provinces (Herat, Farah, and Badghis) of Afghanistan,” he wrote on Instagram and X.
