Rohit Sharma Led Team India Defeated Australia By 6 Wickets: Just like the million fans, India captain Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh, and Ravichandran Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan were also left shocked to witness the top-order collapse of team India in the opening World Cup match against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, October 8.
After the Indian bowlers bundled the Australian team on 199 runs, the Indian batters made a horrible start to their innings as India lost early wickets. Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, and Shreyas Iyer, the top-3 batters were sent back to the pavilion on ducks.

He was joined by KL Rahul in the middle and together they stitched a remarkable partnership of 165 runs, which was the backbone of India’s successful run-chase. Playing a stellar knock, KL remained unbeaten at 97 runs, just three runs short of a well-deserved century.
