Check here weather forecast, rain prediction and more for ODI World Cup warm-up match between India and the Netherlands
Team India will play a warm-up match against the Netherlands on Tuesday before entering the ODI World Cup. Rohit Sharma and Co. didn’t get any game-time against England as the warm-up match was abandoned due to persistent rain. The match between India and Netherlands is scheduled to be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, October 3.
The Dutch side were up against Australia on September 30. Buoyed by the return of Colin Ackermann, Paul van Meekeren and Roelof van der Merwe, the Netherlands cricket team will be aiming to pull off an impressive campaign at the ODI World Cup, scheduled to take place in India. The Dutch triumvirate of Ackermann, Paul van Meekeren and Roelof van der Merwe could not feature in the World Cup Qualifier, held in Zimbabwe earlier this year, due to their involvement in county cricket.
Team India will be aiming to make full use of their home advantage at the ODI World Cup this time. India, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, will kick off their ODI World Cup 2023 journey with a game against the mighty Australian side on Sunday, October 8. The World Cup match between Team India and Australia is scheduled to be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai.
Weather report

Pitch report
The pitch at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram has hosted two ODIs ahead of the ODI World Cup warm-up games. In one of those games, India posted a mammoth total of 390. While the other game proved to be a low-scoring affair as West Indies could only manage to score 104 runs, batting first. Team India had chased down the target, quite comfortably, with 211 balls to spare, scripting a resounding nine-wicket triumph. Overall, the Greenfield International Stadium is considered to be a high-scoring venue and the scenario is expected to remain the same during the warm-up games.
