“If you don’t give us 20 crore rupees, we will kill you, we have the best shooters in India,” the threatening email sent to Mukesh Ambani said. This, of course, sent shockwaves through Ambani’s camp and demanded a fast response.
Ambani’s security in-charge quickly filed a report with the Mumbai Gamdevi Police after seeing how severe the situation was. In response, the Mumbai Police used relevant parts of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to deal with this worrying menace of extortion. To pursue the appropriate legal action against Shadab Khan, two key provisions were applied: 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) and 387 (relating to inciting fear of death or grave injury to conduct extortion).
A thorough search has been launched by the Mumbai Police in an attempt to apprehend the extortionist. The goal of this operation is to locate and capture Shadab Khan, who is currently on the run and faces serious criminal accusations.
An even more sinister occurrence occurred in 2021 when the business magnate’s home was found to be near an explosive-laden SUV. The scenario was made much more disturbing by the discovery that the owner of the car was dead in a nearby stream.
Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries chairman, received a death threat earlier this week, police said today. In an email, a person threatened to kill the industrialist if he didn’t give him ₹ 20 crore.
