Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is set to have showdown talks with manager Erik ten Hag after rejecting a chance to move to Saudi Pro League. Sancho recently lashed out on social media speaking against manager Ten Hag, thereby risking his future at Old Trafford.
With a storm brewing in Manchester, Saudi league club Al-Ettifaq decided to make an offer to Sancho before the transfer window closes shut in the Middle East, however, the former Borussia Dortmund winger has no plans to leave his home country just yet.
Only a few days ago, Sancho publicly claimed on social media that he will continue to fight for Manchester United and the English winger directly responded to criticism from Erik ten Hag.

“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what,” read the final line of the bombshell statement from Sancho.
Having been left out of United’s squad for their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, Ten Hag revealed that the player was sidelined due to poor displays in training but Sancho was having that.
“Please don’t believe everything you read,” Sancho fired back against his coach. “I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week.”
“I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn’t fair,” he added.

In the midst of the whole drama, Al-Ettifaq made a loan offer to the player, but he decided to rebuff the approach straightaway.
Now, according to football transfer window expert Fabrizio Romano, the England international is set to have showdown talks with Ten Hag and the coaching staff regarding his role.
Ever since the former Ajax manager took charge at Man United, Sancho has had a bitter-sweet relationship with the Dutchman, he was sent to the Netherlands to work on his mental and physical attributes. Since his return, there was no respite as the winger was reintegrated into the first team but now there are cracks appearing once again in the relationship between the coach and the player.

United are next in action on September 16 when the host Brighton and Hove Albion after the international break and it remains to be seen whether the Sancho situation improves up until then.
