Hojlund, who joined United during the summer transfer window from Italian side Atalanta has been in brilliant goalscoring touch in recent weeks as he has netted in six consecutive Premier League games for Erik ten Hag’s men after enduring a rather difficult spell in front of goal in the English top flight ever since his arrival.
His performances in the UEFA Champions League stood out as he netted five goals for the Red Devils before the giants were unceremoniously dumped out from the elite continental tournament in the group stages after finishing bottom of their pool.

However, recent weeks have witnessed the resurgence of the Dane, who promised so much and has started to deliver.
He became the fourth United player to net in six consecutive Premier League outings joining the esteemed company of legendary United players such as Wayne Rooney, Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.

United legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy held the record for the longest goal-scoring streak as he managed to find the net in 10 straight games, before he was upended from the mantle by Leicester’s Jamie Vardy, who managed to put the ball into the back of the net in 11 sequential games for the Foxes during his heyday.
A lot will be expected from the United striker when he returns to action following the layoff.
