Novak Djokovic was troubled by a wrist complaint in his latest United Cup win, less than a fortnight out from the Australian Open.
Djokovic injured his right wrist in a hitting session before his match against Jiri Lehecka and received a medical time-out at one point of the match, which he won in a deciding set.
Speaking immediately after the match, Djokovic said he was not too bothered by the flare up.

“I managed to play through. It’s not the first time or the last time, these things happen. You just have to manage,” Djokovic said.
“You have to find a solution and thankfully I managed to finish the match and let’s see what happens now.”
The Australian Open begins on January 14, with Djokovic chasing an incredible 11th title.
He was not named for Serbia’s deciding mixed doubles tie against the Czech Republic.
Should Djokovic claim the Australian Open, he will have won his 25th grand slam singles title.
