Team India’s keeper-batter Rishabh Pant left his fans emotional as he changed his Instagram bio and shared his ‘second’ date of birth, after surviving a horrific car accident earlier this year.
For the unversed, the explosive Indian batter survived a horrific car crash on December 30. He was subsequently taken to the hospital by some locals and had to undergo multiple surgeries. He was airlifted from Dehradun to Mumbai, before being treated by the doctors of BCCI. He has been recovering from multiple injuries that he suffered during the crash. Because of the same, he had to miss the entire IPL 2023 and WTC Final 2023.
Rishabh Pant Changed His Instagram Bio
On Wednesday, Rishabh Pant made fans on social went into a frenzy as he seemingly celebrated his ‘second’ date of birth date, 5th January 2023.
Notably, Pant’s official date of birth remains 4th October 1997. Although, Pant didn’t officially made any statement as to why he had decided to make a change in his bio but seems like the bio itself does all the talking.

Talking about his recovery, Pant has now started to walk without the help of the crutches and recently he even shared a video wherein the explosive batter was seen climbing the stairs at NCA without any support of the clutches.

Pant also shared a picture of his ‘reunion’ with the gang as Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Yuzvendra Chahal all visited the NCA before they all left for the West Indies tour.
As per the latest developments, Pant is recovering faster than expected and the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) is leaving no stone unturned to fast-track his rehab. Pant has reportedly impressed the BCCI by showing signs of a swift recovery.
