The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is putting his energy and focus into keeping his body fit so that he could be fit and fresh for next year’s IPL season when CSK will be looking to defend their recently reclaimed IPL crown.
MS Dhoni has made up his mind to feature in next year’s IPL, even though he will be closing toward his 43rd birthday by the time the IPL will conclude next year.
The former India captain had knee surgery soon after propelling CSK to the IPL 2023 title. He had struggled throughout the IPL 2023 season with a knee injury issue but managed to play all the matches and help the franchise to its sixth IPL trophy.
In a bid to be fit and prepared for next year’s IPL, Dhoni opted to go under the knife on his knee, which concluded with a successful surgery in June. He soon began his rehab and in a few months’ time, he will return to nets.
MS Dhoni has been spending hours every day at the gym and with his physio to attain his best fitness soon.
Recently he was spotted at a gym in Ranchi. Interestingly, the general public is also allowed in the same gym where Dhoni goes. This also shows the humble side and simplicity of the greatest Indian white-ball skipper.
Videos and images of MS Dhoni in the gym have gone viral. His bulked-up muscles, forearms, biceps, and triceps can be seen. Fans have been swooning over looking at Dhoni’s physique, hailing him for being so fit even at the age of 42.
