Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli played another magnificent knock in a crucial game against Gujarat Titans at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Kohli etched his name in the record books as he smashed his seventh century in the Indian Premier League on Sunday night.
With this century, Kohli has surpassed Universe Boss Chris Gayle‘s record for the most number of centuries. This was Kohli’s second-successive century in the ongoing season. He had earlier smashed a century in RCB’s previous game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Kohli brought his half-century in 35 deliveries but he soon switched gears and started smashing the GT bowlers to all the corners of the ground. In the next 25 balls, Kohli reached the triple-figure mark. His sensational knock was laced with 13 fours and 1 stunning six.

After the game, Virat Kohli gave a shutting reply to his critics. Speaking to broadcasters in the post-match interview, Kohli said:
“Lot of people think that my T20 cricket is declining, I don’t feel like that at all,”
He added:
“I think I am playing my best T20 cricket again. I’m just enjoying myself. This is how I play T20 cricket, I look to hit gaps, hit a lot of boundaries and then the big ones towards the end if the situation allows me to. You have to read situations and rise up to the occasion when the situation demands. I feel really good with my game at the moment and how I’m batting.”
