We still have some time before the summer transfer window reopens in Europe, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip is swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!
TOP STORY: Manchester City still want West Ham’s Paqueta
Manchester City remain interested in signing West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá, according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old is reported to still be eyeing a move to the Citizens after coming close to joining them last summer before an investigation into alleged betting breaches by him was launched by the FA. Paquetá has since maintained impressive form for the Hammers, with his goal against Freiburg in the Europa League 5-0 win on Thursday night the seventh that he has contributed to in his past 10 games.
Manager Pep Guardiola is believed to see him as a long-term successor to Bernardo Silva, as uncertainty continues to linger around the Portugal international after he was previously linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with City even “prepared to wait” for clarity over Paquetá’s situation.
It is said that a release clause in his contract allows him to be signed for a fee of £86 million this summer.

He has made 49 appearances so far for the Superliga team, but it is said that he is expected to move on this summer.

The 26-year-old, who arrived at Elland Road for a fee of £11 million last year, is on loan at Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, but the latest indicates that he isn’t currently in manager Daniel Farke’s plans ahead of a potential campaign in the Premier League next season. Leeds are currently second in the Championship table with nine games to play.

Several Premier League clubs are reported to have been looking to sign the 15-year-old, who now appears set to join the Citizens academy after a deal worth £250,000 was agreed.
